And so the process that we move forward is two-fold. Its purpose will help you in the clarification of what you want, and its purpose is to assist you in achieving the vibrational stance that will let you allow what it is that you want.

Maybe you get there a little early, just to enjoy the anticipation of it all.  You've been ready for hours, anyway.  Feel the breeze on your cheek as you sip that rare pinot.  The crisp linen table cloth a stark contrast to the bamboo table setting.  A single orchid highlighted by the spotlight above sits between you and the empty pillow across the table.  Soak in the moment of anticipation.  A part of you knows exactly what it feels like to be in that moment.

Your job is to find that part of you and connect to it BEFORE your soul mate comes into your life.

If you were drawn to the beginning few sentences, you are there.  Being captivated by words is the answer.  Create mini romance novels in your mind.  Your imagination LOVES pictures, emotions and stories.  Once the experience of your inner story gets physical and you can truly feel yourself there…you've got it.

There is only one slight problem…

If a part of you winces or gets sarcastic when you read something sappy like story, somewhere inside a part of you just might be living in an ancient breakup. It is as if the battle has never ended.  Think about it.  Which relationship or relationships ended badly?  Who did you fall for and never get over?  Why are you waiting?  What needs to change for you to move forward toward your dream?

Amazing what a little self inquiry can do. 

With these questions unresolved, it is downright painful to think about the empty spot in the bed next to you.  It is easy to feel overwhelmed and hopeless about ever meeting The One.  The good news is this.  As deeply as you ache over some of the hurt, that is how deeply you will feel loved when you resolve those old battle wounds.

You are creating your world with your thoughts.  Make it the World of your Dreams!  Make peace with those past dramas.  Let them go.  Learn to feel your own fabulous love story before it comes to you.  It is worth every bit of the effort it takes.  How much do you want to be loved and cherished by the perfect man?  Are you willing to really let go and allow True Love in?

If you believe it, you can achieve it.  What you focus on becomes your reality.  In a heart beat you can change your mindset.  Or can you?  What do YOU think?

1. I am only doing inspired actions in my life (meaning I’m only going to do that which inspires me!)

2. I always replace worry with wonder.

3. I immediately cancel & replace thoughts that arise like I…."should", "could", "would", "have to", "must", "need to" and "I've got to"…. and replace them with "I want to", "I get to", "I'd like to", "I'd love to" "I can" “I will” “I am!”.

4. I accept myself, approve and appreciate myself exactly as I am no matter what the situation or experience I’m going through.

5. I explore each experience in life (especially those I have trouble with) with a gentle, compassionate, conscious childlike curiosity.

6. I am independent of the good & bad opinions of others.

7. I remain centered & at peace with myself the world, even when others are not.

8. I think & speak only positive empowering things about others & about myself in a way they can easily feel & understand.

9. I exercise, meditate, eat healthy, and get enough sleep at least 6 days a week.

10. I create only long term fulfilling loving relationships, keeping my heart open to fully experience every person & situation that comes my way.

11. I have healthy boundaries with the demands of others and can simply & effortlessly say NO when I feel taken advantage of or dis-empowered in any way

Why is it so hard to get over a break up and move on?

According to Thea Newcomb of http://SoYouveBeenDumped.com, "When we are reeling from a cold, hard dumping, the initial feeling that sets in is WORRY. We worry whether anyone will ever find us attractive, whether we will have sex again, and whether we will ever find our “true love” and be happy."

Maybe that is it, the feeling of being left is awful.  Even if it is clear that the relationship is not a good fit for either person.  If it was once a highly magnetic relationship, it is hard to accept that the magic has disappeared.  What if there is no one else out there?

But you can do something about the Breakup B.S.  The B. S. is the Back Story and you can do a lot about it.  When your latest breakup is aching and you are crying into your pillow, you definitely need a lot of TLC.  Check out Thea's site, it is full of resources to support you.

I know this sucks, but once the first wave of pain is over, you can deal with your Back Story and that is the key to resetting your Love Magnet and trying again.  Your past relationships are still alive in you at some level and a current breakup is the easiest way to access past emotional pain and dissolving it once and for all.

It is important to be gentle with yourself during this time.  Brain scientists are finding that the same part of the brain that fires when having a crush on a new love also fires during a breakup.  No wonder it is so hard…pleasure and pain all wrapped up in one bruising package.  Ouch.

Take a quiet moment and look back, has there been a past relationship that still aches?  Allow yourself to let go of as much of that past disappointment as you can.  If you need help, talk to a friend or join a Law of Attraction discussion group.  Disappointment is highly attractive and will continue to draw more of itself to your life until you change those emotional memories.

With your Love Magnet restored and renewed and some time under your belt, you will be ready for love again.  It is worth the time to deal with your own Breakup B.S. before you try again.  Finding peace with your temporary singleness while you recover does wonders for your self concept.
