The Universe is full of examples of automatic manifestation.

Let me repeat that:  The Universe is FULL of examples of AUTOMATIC MANIFESTATION.  Let me give you a few examples.

A dandelion seed floating in the wind doesn’t obsess about how it will grow a strong enough root to withstand multi-deweeding attempts.

A grain of sand doesn’t stress about how it will become a matching pearl on a strand on the neck of a lovely woman.

A caterpillar doesn’t worry about how it will fly thousands of miles as a Monarch butterfly.

An acorn doesn’t obsess about how it will tower over everything as an oak tree in the future.

A tadpole doesn’t stress about how it will grow four legs and hop as a frog.

A chick in the nest doesn’t worry about how it will leap from the nest and fly as an eagle.

A puppy doesn’t obsess about how it will lead a blind man across a busy street.

A redwood pine cone doesn’t stress about how a forest fire one day will release it’s seeds into the earth.

A lamb doesn’t worry about how to grow enough wool to make all the sweaters that are to come.

Are you catching my drift? There are so many examples of AUTOMATIC MANIFESTATION around us all the time.  What is on automatic in your life?

I hear from a lot of single baby boomers.

1.  You have to get clear on what you want. I can’t tell you how many people I talk to have a devil of a time telling me what it is they want in a partner.  Take some time and allow yourself to explore exactly what your life will be like when HE or SHE is here.  Where will you go to eat?  What will you do on Friday nights?  Be detailed.  Dream.  Create an your ideal relationship and write it down.  The Law of Attraction is waiting for you to get clear on what you want!

2.  You have to take action. Being honest with yourself about your fears and doubts about creating a sustainable relationship is crucial.  Sometimes it is painful to let your desires have full expression.  The fear that it might not happen can squelch your power to attract the very thing you so desperately desire.  There are countless tools available to address past disappointments.  Try using Google.  Type:  “How can I get over my past relationships so I can meet my soul mate?” into the search window.  You will be amazed at the resources that are available to you.

3.  You have to get out of your house. Join something.  Anything.  I am currently going to a wonderful meditation class weekly.  The people there are an interesting crowd.  It is small, usually no more than 7 or 8 people but the connections are sweet and soul satisfying.  Today, one woman was cleaning up and purging a lot of her stuff…another woman there needed the EXACT stuff she was getting rid of.  An exchange of phone numbers followed.  One woman’s trash…..anothers treasure!  You never know who you will meet when you choose to go somewhere.  Could your soul mate be there?  Maybe.  Or could be someone there has a brother or cousin who is your next contact.

4.  You have to embrace exploration and experiment with who crosses your path. 5.  Just Do It. The Universe…Source….Divine….whatever you call that which is undefinable, is waiting for you to ask.  Create a journal just for asking for what you want.  Don’t worry about your wording.  Don’t try to be perfect.  Just write from your heart.  Tell the Universe what you want and be clear and precise.  Amazing things happen when you get specific and let yourself want what you want.  I believe that when a vision for your future comes into your mind that you have the creative power to make that happen.  Stay true to those desires and follow your intuitive leanings.  Get out and meet people.  Stay focused on what you desire and be alert to the “coincidences” that are sure to follow.

There you have it.  The desire of your heart is leading you surely and steadily to an amazing series of events that will delight you. If you end up at a rest stop now and then, that is ok.  Just make sure to get back out there as soon as you are ready!  There is some real magic available…just you wait and see!

Aren’t you immediately curious about what in the world those yeses are all about?

Amazing how powerful that little word is.  Especially when you say it to yourself.  What?

How many times do you decline inner nudges to act in ways that would SURELY RAISE YOUR VIBRATION to a more blissful state?  While searching for love, your path will be lined with lovely signs that you are on the right track. Will you notice them or not?

There is evidence every single day that you are getting closer to love and when your vibration is uplifted regularly, you will see that evidence.  Love appears like magic.  When love appears more regularly, finding a soul mate connection will be a natural unfolding.

What are some of the inner nudges you need to answer with an emphatic YES?

How about a walk?

Ready for a glass of water?

Why not call that friend you haven’t seen for a couple of months.

Go outside for a breath of fresh air.

I heard every word. I was three tables over in Starbucks and I couldn’t help but overhear. I glanced over and I was surprised to see the person I was listening to was nearing 50. I couldn’t help but wonder if she realized how she was coming across.

If you are single and there are no prospects in sight, you are in the perfect position to take on a personal project. Ladies, we must learn to control what is coming out of our mouths. It is the perfect homework for control freaks every where, the one thing you CAN control is your speech!

Starting tomorrow, begin each day with this intention at the forefront of your mind: I intend to write my complaints down in detail instead of speaking them out loud. There are two steps here, one, acknowledge the things that are bugging you and two, write them down.

Don’t get trapped in the artificial positivity that goes along with Law of Attraction thinking. Let yourself be bugged. Write it down and then if you are a drama diva like me, create a burning ceremony and do it up right! Even if you just throw it away, at least it is coming up out of you and on to something neutral like a blank piece of paper. I like to use different colors of pens and sometimes I write conversationally as if an inner buddy is answering back.

Now Lori might actually be a lady of the evening but even if she is, do we need to talk about it? What if the words we speak radiate from us as surely as radio waves? Personally, that is exactly what I think happens. Wouldn’t it behoove us to choose carefully what we are broadcasting?

So, let’s get together here, ladies, and make some serious decisions. Yes, I am sure that people have been low down and no good including ex-boyfriends, ex-friends and ex-bosses, but retelling the story again and again and again doesn’t serve you. As long as you are in between guys, why not practice cutting complaining out of your day to day routine.

A pastor in the midwest started an anti-complaining campaign that has had a major impact. His suggestion is to put a rubber bracelet on one wrist and then switch wrists every time you catch yourself complaining. The goal is to wear the bracelet on the same wrist for thirty days.

Great idea! I love the plan. I would just add one element. Complain once a day on paper. Let yourself be ticked off at the inconveniences that frustrate you, the inefficiency that annoys you, the disrespect that angers you and the carelessness that infuriates you. What ever it is, write it out, every word.

Your opportunities for great dates and new connections will be dramatically impacted by this change in your routine. Most feel a change in a week. You can expect to be treated differently in subtle ways and you will attract small things like coupons from area restaurants, invitations, movie passes, things like that.

Can fine dining be far behind? Getting used to noticing the small but certain signs that our luck is changing is a necessary step. You want to be with someone permanently. You want someone around to fix a few things and to snuggle with on the couch. He wants that too and he is looking for you. Whining and complaining, no matter how deserving the offending party has been, is simply unattractive to a lot of decent guys and potential soul mates.
