I just got back from a fantastic visit with the most beautiful grandbaby on the planet. Of course, I always used to secretly roll my eyes (sorry buddies) when my friends became grandparents before me.  But now, I am as bad as any of them and yes, I DO have the most beautiful grandbaby ever.

A strange thing…your child having a child.  I met Brody when he was just one week old. I was struck by how utterly helpless he was.  If a fly landed on his nose, or his dog licked his face, he could do nothing about it, little arms waving around randomly in front of his face.

His skin was ridiculously soft, his eyes impossibly blue and he was my son’s child. I still feel so lucky to have met him when he was just one week on the planet.  Now, through the miracle of SKYPE, I can see him whenever I want.  When he kisses my face on the screen, it touches my heart….thank goodness for technology!

I met an Egyptian rental car agent this trip whose mother lives in Egypt.  He said to me, “I believe technology is a work of God.  My children want to see ‘Granny’ every day and they are bonded to her through SKYPE.” I agree.  Brody recognized me on the computer screen when he was not yet a year old!

So, what did this precious being teach me about anger?  Very simple.  When he is angry, there is no mystery in it.  Should his mommy disappear for even an instant….wailing that could wake the dead echoes through the house!

If his daddy leaves the room to get a coke, screams penetrate the room!  There is no thought.  There is no guarding against being inappropriate.  There is no self monitoring or self censoring. There is just a blood curdling scream!

When Brody is mad, everyone knows it!

Where did we lose our way?  When did it become illegal to be mad?  When did we start to censor ourselves and lock our strongest emotion inside our frail bodies?  We are suffering as a people.  We are overweight, diabetic, depressed, anxious, sick with any of a variety of maladies and we are mad. continue

And so, we had a deck of them framed to hang in the hallway of our California home, as well as keeping a deck near us with selected ones in our pocket or purse. I even thought about getting a name badge holder and wearing it around my neck with a daily card tucked inside. But then…

Some friends in attendance at our recent Asheville seminars showed us the Money and the Law of Attraction Card Deck App that they had downloaded to their iphone. Such a fabulous idea!! And then today we received word from Reid Tracy (our publisher) that our Money, and the Law of Attraction Card Deck app has been selected by Apple as a featured app for their “What’s Hot” section on iTunes.

It will be prominently listed on the front page of the App Store for the next week. Now, several times a day, we can practice the Vibration of the Vortex by easily scrolling through these beautiful cards on the iPhone. If you don’t have an iPhone, you can still get these beautiful cards through Hay House.

And more good news… Amazon has chosen Abraham’s newest book, The Vortex, (released Sept 1, 2009) to be in the list of their top 100 books (of all books released in 2009) as favorites of Amazon customers. Now THAT is thrilling. It is getting easier and easier for people to find, and use, the teachings of Abraham.

Sucks doesn’t it.

And don’t just limit yourself to love.  Trusting the wrong person can happen in business, friendships and even in our health care choices.

The worst part…the easiest person to blame for the mess is YOURSELF. Now you may think you are blaming that awful other person.  You certainly complain about them enough….to any one that will listen.

But..truth be told, at the core of it, aren’t you furious at yourself for being naive and trusting the rat in the first place.  There, the big secret is out.  It is YOU that is to blame, no one else.

And what exactly did you do wrong?  Listen….can you hear it?  It is that little voice inside harassing you once again:

“How could you be so stupid?” continue

If the Law of Attraction really works, then why in the world would you keep attracting men who are no good for you?

I’ll tell you why.

LOW SELF ESTEEM is ridiculously attractive. Like a powerful inner magnet, your low opinion of yourself sends invisible waves of energy that broadcast to the world like a “Kick Me” sign taped to your back.

There is some good news here, though.  Low self esteem is just a habit. You heard me right…a habit.  It is a habit of THOUGHT.  A belief is created by thinking a thought over and over and over again.  Pretty soon you don’t even know you are thinking the thought.  Before you know it, you truly believe you are NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

When you BELIEVE you are NOT GOOD ENOUGH, you do the stupidest stuff imaginable to make other people like you.  How is that working for you? continue

I am inspired and celebrating an extra special birthday today!

Two years ago, I was recovering from cancer surgery and couldn’t walk across the living room.  Today I am running and playing with my grandson!  Life is exquisitely sweet to me and I stand profoundly grateful.

There is no question that my SELF CONFIDENCE grew by leaps and bounds as I watched my body recover (amazing in itself).  I also grew as a woman and found my divine life purpose through all of the coaching that I received through my adventure.

In the Sex in The City Movie, Carrie is reading a fairy tale to Charlotte’s little girl. As she closes the book with the classic, “And they lived happily ever after!” she said….”You know, it really doesn’t turn out that way.”

Ironic, as she DOES end up with Mr. Big…an ending that seemed way too good to be true to faithful fans.  But it does beg the question….”Is there really a happily ever after to be had?”

Life is running by faster and faster.
